Because Cmd-Delete moves items to the trash in the finder, and deletes methods and properties and such, I tend to use Cmd-Delete many cases where delete would work just fine. The project tab of the IDE is one of those such cases. I understand I'm using this differently than intended, but this has worked just fine without problem for a very, very long time. In 2007r2, the IDE performs two unique deletes when Cmd-Delete is pressed.

I think just DELETE by itself will delete multiple items in the IDE including modules and windows and folders. This problem is compounded by a more serious bug, where hitting UNDO brings back the deleted window, but its entirely blank, and all of the editfields and popup menus are not restored.

Create 5 new windows in a new project. The newest item will be Window6, and selected. Press Cmd-Delete. We are now left with Window4. Window5 was deleted with Window6.
