Just so you realize it Joe, but AOL on OSX will only send html. In order to
send AOL email without the html, one needs to restart in OS 9 and use an OS 9
version of AOL.
There were numerous times I wanted to say something to the list, but it is
too much trouble to restart in OS 9. Of course, the positive side is that it
cuts down on bandwidth because I sure as hell don't want Joe chastising me,
again, for my html mailings. I get beat enough without looking for it!
I am NOT saying I like reading html or disagree with the "list standards." I
understand other's displeasure. But, some people are stuck.
Now to reboot back to OSX so I can get back to work.
Cheers,

Because the list standards dictate it, and because the standard font
sizes are bigger on Windows than on the Mac, most HTML messages
display for me in about a 6-point font, which I can't read. I delete
such messages without attempting to read them, and I know many others
do too. So, by posting in plain text, you not only follow the list
rules and respect others on the list, but you also increase your odds
of getting your question read and answered.
