Yes, this is definitely possible in REALbasic. What you want to is to make
you project use the MDI (multiple document interface) model. Using the MDI
model, your application has one main (parent) window that contains one or
more (child) windows.
To do this, select "Build Settings..." from the File menu and select
"Windows Settings" from the drop-down list in the middle of the Build
Settings dialog. Then check the "Multiple Document Interface" checkbox.
And away you go...
