I've been playing with the 10 day trial of RB, but it just expired. Yes, I should probably drop everything and buy it straight away (overall, I was impressed), but I hit a snag on day 10, in relation to tabs in edit fields... I know there were some plug-ins and work-arounds, but I didn't get a chance to test them out in a >> project.

So, rather than running out an buying RB, I was hoping people could suggest some (better or worse) alternatives to RB that I could also try-out, before making an informed decision on buying RB.

Perhaps we should first discuss what the snag was with tabs. What were you trying to accomplish and how did you go about doing it?

More than happy to :)

Pressing the tab key in an edit field resulted in a single space, rather than a tab behaviour similar to that of say, Word or BBEdit or even OSX's default text editor TextEdit.

I then asked this list how this was accomplished, and they said it could not be done with RB alone... I needed the WASTED plug-in, or to hand-roll my own. That's where I stopped :)
