I am not familiar with the OS X screensaver plug-in format, but I just took
a look at some and it doesn't look like these are stand-alone applications.
REALbasic only generates standalone applications (not plug-ins), so creating
a Mac OS X screen saver plug-in with REALbasic is not in the cards right now

Our vision for REALbasic is to enable you to create more than desktop and
server applications... One thing we plan to add at some point is the ability
to create plug-ins for various environments (Photoshop, Office, REALbasic,
etc.) But today you cannot make plug-ins with REALbasic.

That being said... we (the Getting Started List) would be happy to help you
with your first project!

P.S. If you still want to make your custom screensaver, check out
iScreensaver <http://iscreensaver.net/> a cross-platform screensaver editor
that was made with REALbasic.
