I am using the RB Windows IDE to build for the Mac. The file it creates is a .bin file. When I open this file on a Mac it uses stuffit expander to create the application (executable) file. However, I see that most people post Mac programs in the .sit compressed file type. Do I have to copy the file from windows to a Mac, uncompress it, then recompress it to a .sit file every time, or is there an easier way?

Speaking as a mac user, I think the .bin format should be just fine, but regardless, Stuffit is available for Windows also: www.stuffit.com
