Endofline bug?

I'm trying the code:

    pushbutton1.caption = "text" + endofline + "text"

On mac it makes 2 lines, on windows it makes "text||text" (not 2 |, but
unknown caracter)

Also

    pushbutton1.caption = "text" + endofline.windows + "text"

has same result.
I use rb 5.5.3 and test it on win xp home.
Did anyone find this problem?
