Thanks Guys
Well I was mostly trying to do this as a learning exercise and I
think I understand now that it cannot be done directly although I can
instantiate windows and controls in code providing that there is
already a copy in the project.
My experiment was around a class which I am building to manage
outgoing emails and I have a separate window which has the progress
controls and SMTPSocket in it. I just wondered if I could create the
progress window and controls in code. What I can do is to
instantiate a copy of the progress window successfully in a method
attached to the class, but there really isn't any benefit in that as
far as I can see.
Anyway I now know a bit more about RB than I did before
Jon
