Yep.

However, you can only change the properties that are changeable at runtime. Those that cannot be changed are marked in Boldface in the OLR. (e.g. Multiline, Styled, Accept Tabs, Border, adding scrollbars, etc). Also you cannot add or remove methods at runtime as any methods in the events of the original editfield will be included in the clone.

Also, each New clone will have the top and left properties of the original and appear on top of the original until you move them. The controls indices will be automatically adjusted for each New clone.
