Problem with REALbasic Tutorial 5.5.pdf

I am working my way through the tutorial. When I get to the section on 
Creating the Dialog Box (which starts on Page 46) it then asks you to 
enter code "Specifying the MessageDialog's Properties" BUT it doesn't 
tell you where this code goes. Do I need to add a method? If so how do 
I do this?
Can anyone tell me please.
