Hi,
that’s the theory.
But maybe Jack cannot afford Mac OS X upgrade (no money available) ?
Maybe Jack cannot use the REALbasic 5.5.3 update ?
Or worst, maybe both: the used hardware needs improvements (memory / hard disk /
speed) before upgrading to Mac OS X 10.3.5 and then update to REALbasic 5.5.3.
Or simply, Jack is happy with what he actually have ;)
Sometimes I try to "walk a mile on 'some other guy' shoes".
Cheers,
Emile

There is a long list of improvements/fixes for 5.5.3. I would upgrade
before
moving forward.
If possible, an OSX upgrade would also provide much more usefulness in
RB as many features require 10.2.x as a minimum and function even
better in 10.3.x.
