That might have been my post. I never found a solution and have no idea
how fix it. I found that if I deleted a control, sometimes two, it
would let me add properties. It doesn't seem to matter which control is
deleted and sometimes I have to delete two or three controls.
When I try to create new properties without deleting controls, nothing
happens at all. Not even a temporary property that disappears as you
described.
Windows XP, RB 5.5.1

Subject: Can't add property to list in window
(This question was asked by someone else on October 1, 2004, but I
don't see any follow-up replies) Recently I have not been able to
add new properties to the property list within a window. The property
shows up in the list temporarily (but not in bold font as the
already-established properties do) but then vanishes as soon as I
move on to anything else (or close the property list and re-open it).
This has never been a problem in the past. Using RB 5.5.4 and Mac
OSX 10.3.6. What gives?
