I'm about as dense as one can get and I'm having luck learning things on
my own as well as getting answers here on this list and on message
boards.

Seth is right in saying that you need to find something you want to
finish. Make it something as simple as you possibly can and start. My
first application was a file renamer.

You might not think you'll be able to finish, but eventually you will.
Even if you don't, you will learn a lot along the way. When your brain
gets tired with something you're trying to figure out, move to something
else that sounds fun and figure it out. For instance, you're working on
a mathematical equation that you can't get to work correctly. If you
reach the end of your patience, figure out a way to make the interface
be more user friendly or make it look better...or something like that.

understand such things as RB but I wont give up.

Thank you for your understanding and encouragment!!

Believe it or not you saved this newbie!

Brian
