Hello every body !
I Bought RB pro 5.5 just about 6 months ago.
( why I went for the pro version instead of basic ..well I guess I got excited)
I have never programmed before ( well just a dab in perl)
and took the leep into RB
Im not a math major or a rocket scientist....so I always doubted myself as to
trying to learn programming.
Ive done the tutorials...bought matt Neubergs RealBasic the definitive guide (
understood what I could from there)
I did give up for a couple of months trying to learn RB
but the desire is there and I find myself trying again.
I guess I just wanted to ask if other people here have had the same feelings
and how did you overcome the learning curve?
Maybe its just me...As I said im just a highschool grad (now 35) with the
burning desire to learn RB
I appreciate any response to this e-mail...
Thank You
Brian

Come up with a project, anything at all, that you can create as
software. A simple game, if thats what drives you; or anything at all.
Make it simple first, no frills. Then add cool things as you think of
them. Little by little, as you expand your project, you will learn.
