How do i tell my text application to receive drag'n'dropped files on its icon ?
(mac os 9-x)

Check the "Document Icon" for the file types you want to accept in the
File Types dialog. Also, I believe that your application must have a
creator code.

Actually, the creator code is only necessary for double-clicking on the file icon.

For dropping any text file, make sure you have a file type set for that particular file and handle it in the OpenDocument event of the Application sub-class.

HTH,

Terry
