Not sure this applies to you, but at the top of the download page, it
mentions that using download accelerators can cause corrupt downloads.
I could try sending the RBPlugin134.rbx to you off list, if you like.

Subject: Problem with 5.5.4
Hope someone can help. WinXP. I downloaded 5.5.4 the other
day, now when starting up (before the IDE opens) I get this error.
"Failed Assertion 4. plugin.cpp 5744. Failure condition :
vv. Could not load internal plugin RBPlugin134.rbx."
I checked the Internal Plugins folder, there's a heap of plugins
there, but the RBPlugin134.rbx size is 0 bytes. I've tried to
re-install the the update, choosing repair etc. Problem
remains. Have also re-downloaded and re-installed update,
problem still remains.
The IDE still opens, I haven't though done any programming/fiddling. Any
