By the way, I just saw an article about this - i think it was in photoshop
user. they say that no computers actually use 72 dpi for screen resolution (for
10 years or so). They have a method using photoshop of making a graphic image
1 inch by 1 inch via the set up, and then comparing to a real ruler placed
next to the screen - they expand the file by various percentages until you find
the correct screen resolution.
In this way, you can get your own monitor to pretty exactly show the same
size as will be printed.
