JPEG files do not support alpha channels.
OK, but what i want is flattening the picture
with the mask effect, I do not want any mask
included in the result file : as this is intended
for photos, jpeg files are OK.
If you want to convert a picture with a Mask
into a picture without a mask (but the same
visual effect) you can draw the first picture
into a blank second picture. This would apply
the mask from the first and "flatten" the image.
Then you can save the picture in any format you
want.
I tried this way, there is some modification in
the picture saved, but not the same as what is
displayed on screen. Is there another way to
obtain what i have in the window? WYSIWYG would
be welcome...
Since RB Reference or Guide are not explicit
about what RB does when applying masks, could you
direct me to some documentation where exact
calculations are explained ? Thanks.
BTW, can you explain what is the difference between
canvas.backdrop = mypicture
and
canvas.backdrop.graphics.drawpicture mypicture,0,0
?
