Hallo,

ich versuche mich gerade mit der RealDatabase anzufreunden. Ist es
richtig, daß es keinen Datentyp gibt, der mehr als 231 Zeichen
aufnimmt? Wie speichert man längere Binärdaten oder Texte in einer
RealDatabase?

Falsche Sprache oder Falsche Liste?
Wrong language or wrong list?

Mfg
Christian

Ok, it's the wrong list.
But the problem is not existent anyway, as I see now that it's just the online reference, which does not display every Character in my german Version of RB (5.5.3). What is "231" in the online reference is "2^31" in the same dokument viewed in .pdf-format. The datatype "long Varbinary" is not even mentioned in the Language Reference under "RealDatabase class" but is as a supported Datatype in the developer handbook.

Sorry for the wrong language - I'll have to configure my mail-client in a better way.

Regards,
Marc-Hendrik
