I have an existing solution that I am migrating from FileMaker Pro 6 to
REALbasic. Currently we allow users to use and create custom merge documents
using the RTF document standard. Specifically, we use a FileMaker plug-in
(Troi File) that substitutes ³merge fields² in the RTF code for data in the
database. It¹s a simple find and replace process that works well. My
question is, how could I implement this in REALbasic? I need to be able to
create RTF files and then substitute specially tagged merge fields in that
RTF with data. Is there a plug-in or solution that exists to do this? Your
help is greatly appreciated.
