I have created macros that are active and linked to buttons on the PC
version of Microsoft Excel (PCXL). I have now got a Mac and am working
it intensely but unfortunately the Mac version of Excel (MacXL) does
not run the macros. I have downloaded a copy of REAL Basic in order to
convert the macros, but i am not sure the software is suited for such
conversion.
One thing that I've found moving things from a Windows Excel to a Mac
one is, you need to avoid all Active X (and I know there's a newer name
for this) stuff. As long as you use the older "Forms" toolbar on the
PC instead of the Active X components toolbar, conversion of most
things isn't too hard.
