Dear all,
I'm new to RealBasic and the Object Oriented Basic language, but I'm not
entirely new to programming as I build pretty large PHP projects. So OOP
in general is also something I understand.
I'm learning RealBasic because I see tons of possibilities using RB
applications to enhance my webapplications. (excited!).
Now I read the Quickstart & the User Guide and I did the Tutorial.
However, a lot of the things I see posted in this mailinglist are beyond
the information given in the PDF's and I'm having difficulty to follow
the conversations.
Where can I go to learn more about programming in RealBasic? Where do I
go to learn all the ins-and-outs of RealBasic? I want to be able to
program comfortably in the language itself instead of having to rely on
simply dragging controls. And in a few months would even like to be able
to extend my own applications with my self-made plugins. Not that I
would need to now, but still I want the knowledge.
I'm asking this so I can purchase books knowing that these will result
in a solid knowledgebase for future projects. I already subscribed to
the RealBasic Developer Magazine, but I want to fill up my bookshelf
with the right stuff.
Thanks.
(Trying to schedule my learning curve for the next 6 months)
