In that case, I discuss how to do it using Core Foundation declares in my (online) book on the topic <http://www.quantum-meruit.com/rb/iDeclare/CoreFoundation/13.html>. I imagine that it is also possible to retrieve this information using a Shell object, but I don't know what command(s) to use.

There isn't a way built into REALbasic to get this information.
