This *is* a "getting started* list. You are in the right place.
My opinion is that "dumb" questions are rare. They have to be
deliberately crafted as a "dumb" question by someone who knows better.
There are many questions, however, where the answer seems simple, but
only in hindsight.
And those questions are perfectly ok. :-)
