Keep in mind that there are "gotchas" with Mac, too.  Also remember that
it's more difficult to code cross platform.  What works on the OS you're
working on, may not work as expected (or at all) on another.  You'll have to
get used to this :)

What do you mean by "does nothing"?  Is it allowing you to type in the
EditField or delete text from it?  Can you be more specific?
