Geneva 10pt looks terrible in OS9 Carbon

I did not try the latest beta, but at least in beta4 all edit fields with
font set to "Geneva" at 10pt which used to look great are displayed with
wrong character spacing and rough characters. (This goes for Carbon under
OS9)

Is this the result of the new text engine?

Carbon is pretty useless for OS9 apps now...
I will convert back to 3.5.2 and wait for this to be fixed, before upgrading
to 4.0.
