Hi Anders (?),
the situation could be worse of what you?re thinking !
Why ?
Because you do not speak the local language you do not know (in fact you do not
tell) if the shown price is with VAT OR without VAT !
AFAIK, it is prohibited in France to make add without VAT ! Excepted if the
target audience is pro (company, small office, and so on).
Worse (second time), it seems to be ?in the mood? in France these days to make
advertisings without any price ! Fantastic ! They
think people will go to buy without knowing the list price
BTW: even list price are illegal !
Back to the beach, there, you can read prices befor walking on the sand...
Emile
Prices in France are noted HT (without taxes), TTC (with taxes) but most of the
time, there is nothing at all (so they have to
include VAT err. TVA as they say !).
Check Apple store and you will understand (follow the small * to know what is
the price flavor).
Even for postage and handling, you have to read the small characters somewhere
in some dark corner.
Who talks about customer satisfaction ?
(it was Apple, 12 or so years ago, and me !)

try to collect signature for decreasing IRS...

Yes, that's not what I said. I said that since Nova's prices are Higher,
I need to pay More VAT when purchasing through them than I would have
if I purchased it through RS.

As I understand it, everybody who resells it would get it from Nova or one of
the other distributors. I
know of one company in Sweden that sold RB, but I just checked their website
and the latest catalog and
it's not there anymore. (InWarehouse)
Let's see what other distributors there are in Europe:
Netherlands: Their website is in Dutch which I don't speak. I wasn't able to
find anything about RB
there.
Italy: Don't speak Italian either, but it wasn't hard to find RB. They charge
Û140 for the standard
version and Û415 for Pro.
Greece: Same thing with Greece... They seem to charge Û169.28 for Standard and
Û419.26 for Pro, but
since I don't understand what it says it might be with CD and/or Manuals.
Germany: Without speaking German either, they seem to charge Û130 and Û380.
France: Now this was a though one. Û119 and Û359 I think.
Mind telling me what companies, other than the distributors, are selling RB?
And wouldn't their prices
most likely be even higher than the distributors?
As Lynn said, Euro and USD have close to the same value right now, 1 USD =
1.00918 EUR.
(And for those of you who now wonder if I speak any languages at all, I speak
Swedish, English and
couple of programming languages only :-)
