I was skeptical about this IDE Extras folder solution, but since I've
been crashing regularly all morning, not to mention the last few
days, I was ready to try anything. Since renaming the IDE Extras
folder in my RB folder to "_IDE Extras", I have not crashed since. I
have been trying to replicate the conditions that caused earlier
crashes as closely as possible, but no crashes since renaming the
Extras folder.
Joe, you've seen my crash logs already. I have nothing in the Extras
folder that didn't come in the downloadable OS X distribution. I have
even re-installed my plugins and reverted to using the copy of my
project that uses them, with no crashes upon quit as before. I'll
keep you posted if there are any more.
