I was skeptical about this IDE Extras folder solution, but since
I've been crashing regularly all morning, not to mention the last
few days, I was ready to try anything. Since renaming the IDE
Extras folder in my RB folder to "_IDE Extras", I have not crashed
since. I have been trying to replicate the conditions that caused
earlier crashes as closely as possible, but no crashes since
renaming the Extras folder.
I did some more tests and came up with something weird. I had an empty folder
named "Exception handler" in the Templates folder. This was the culprit.
Deleting or renaming cured the "unexpected quits".
I can reproduce that with no problem. But, this does NOT happen if the
folder is called anything else, OR the folder is not empty.
No "Exception handler" sub-folder here. But still no crashes since
renaming the IDE Extras folder.
