Thanks David,
By renaming every new app build I am making very significant progress.
I was almost ready to abandon 10.2 and go back to 9 until your reply.
My problem is that I now can't reproduce the crash and I don't know
which iteration of the debugging was the answer. As long as it doesn't
reoccur !!!!
Many Thanks
Tim

Any bright ideas?
It sounds like you might be suffering from the 10.2 caching bug where
the OS
insists on using a copy of the App that no longer exists. This bug
makes it
very tough to tell whether changes you think you've made to the App are
actually having any impact on the problems you are seeing.
Various things such as renaming the App, moving the App, etc will help
work
around the problem. You can also check out this previous post:

Possibly you've already solved the crash (perhaps by updating the
Valentina
plugin?) but it hasn't seemed to work because of the caching problem.
By
building with the Classic IDE you've avoided or inadvertently worked
around
the caching problem. This is all just a guess but it's certainly worth
keeping the caching problem in mind while trying to narrow down 10.2
problems.
Cheers,
David
