Tacit,
I don't import System 7 sounds into projects for Windows apps. There are
other errors which manifest themselves on some Windows systems using this
approach. I have a little app with about 2,000 Windows copies in use. I
haven't received a single report of a volume reset problem. Works nicely on
Win98 SE and ME with SoundBlaster AWE32 cards. If at all possible, I suggest
using external WAVs.
