something. Does anybody know how these work?
Just drag a toolbar control (or a toolbar separator control) from the
controls palette to your window. The presense of a toolbar control in the
window tells REALbasic to add a toolbar to the window. The toolbar controls
have properties for setting the caption and icon, etc.
The docs don't seem to say whether the new toolbar controls are cross
platform or OSX only. And I don't see anything new in the controls
palette in 5a6 Classic on OS9.2.2.
Additionally just trying to load my current 4.5 app into 5a6 Classic
on OS9.2.2 yields the error message "Couldn't find class named
"StandardToolbarItem", references to that have been changed to
object."
Do the toolbars require the Carbon IDE on OSX for layout and only run
in carbon builds on OSX?
Thanks,
