I believe that this option has been there from the word go, I may be
wrong. I too have found that it is temperamental... Sometimes it works,
sometimes it doesn't.
I have both the Carbon and Classic version of the IDE my drive, when I
need to debug in classic I boot up the classic IDE.

Pardon if this is old news, but I just did a "Get Info" on one of my
carbon apps, and notice that there is a new option, "Open in the
Classic Environment".
I thought that if I turned this feature on, it would allow me to
launch (and debug) my carbon app in classic. Alas it appears to have
no effect.
Other than rebooting into 9.x, is there a way to force a carbon app to
launch in classic?
