I personally am extremely aggrieved by this problem. On my recommendation,
a client paid for the upgrade to 5.0. A MySQL client to run on Windows is
exactly what he is building. So he bought the Pro version of REALbasic,
because this includes Windows compilation and MySQL client. Well, he can
compile for Windows and he can compile a MySQL client, but he can't
compile a MySQL client for Windows. So now, naturally, he's mad at me.
I'm sorry to ramble on, but I keep having this experience. REALbasic keeps
letting me down. I spend too much time having to apologize for it. That's
why I don't usually recommend it. Well, I stuck my neck out and
recommended it this once and presto, my neck got cut off.
