I had similar problems on OS X.
The weirdest I ever had, different from what you describe though, was
getting stuck in an infinite loop, after clicking 'change all', where
the IDE would jump back and forth between an event and a method
forever. (I had clicked 'find in current item', and that method and
event's code were each visible in a pane.)
I haven't been bugging stuff though since for the past two weeks I've
been on an inadequate internet connection.

I think I've run into the same problem and it is irrating as all HELL. I'm
using an Apple Classic version and many times the code window and the find
window just stop refreshing usually after running code and returning back
into the IDE. The code window appears to be blank and clicking on attempting
to click into a module from the code browser (left pane) does nothing to
bring back the code. I have to close the entire window and reopen it to
regain a viewable code window. Also, I ran into what I think is a very weird
and similar problem using find. Does the find get 3/4 cut off and you can't
see anything? I also was searching the archives the other and found a
problem similar to this described quite a while back and it was blamed on
beta versions. Well, I think after all this time it should have been fixed.
This are some common interface problems that are really irrating and should
be fixed. Does anyone else have problems with OS 9 Classic because this
doesn't appear to be an issue with the Windows version and I haven't test OS
X?
