I have been running into this problem frequently -- the problem has
been in the last few releases of 5.3. I'm hoping some of you have also
been noticing this, and might have a way to reproduce it reliably. The
particular problem I'm noticing is project file names that are
gibberish -- random double byte (kanji?) characters and glyphs.
I have seen RB crash on more than one occasion but not *quite* enough
to say frequently, when saving. I can't think of any way to reproduce
it though as I don't know what I'm doing one time I'm not all of the
others. I haven't seen the renaming of the project file though, but I
have seen the backup file made visible after the crash. And the part
that stinks is that when you open RB back up, it doesn't give you the
option to restore the unsaved project.
