grr... well I sure hope you guys can fix this, because as it stands now EditableMovie.picture is completely useless. It was hard to work with
before, but I managed to iron out the kinks by using it in a thread.
Now I have nothing I can do.

Use my plugins ;-)
Stepping through a movie is a lot of faster using the plugins.

I knew you were gonna chime in with this.

Christian, I registered MBS just so I could use your movie routines, and frankly it's been more of a hassle then it's worth. You require more code, often using function calls that I don't understand, and the methods you gave me often have negative side-effects such as visual glitches. In fact I tried using MBS for this routine, and the program crashed.

To be honest, I kinda feel like I got ripped off. There have only been two things in the MBS package that I've used because another alternative wasn't available. One was loading of an icon from a file, something which probably is available elsewhere and I just haven't found it yet. The other was loading of a TIFF image with an alpha mask, which was broken and didn't get fixed until after my license expired.

I have Mac-only classes that allow you to load icons for files <http://www.quantum-meruit.com/Rb/Downloads/MacIcon.sit>.
