I have an idea for a work-around on this one.
Have your DB app import a pic by simply copying it into a folder next
to
your DB. Then when your DB retrieves the picture, it will do so
through the
FolderItem and the OpenAsPicture commands by taking the filename data
saved
as a String to your DB and then requesting the file with that name.
Thanks for the suggestion. I'm hoping to be able to get rapid display
of thumbnail images from a group of images selected from the database
and this method might be a bit slow. I'll probably wait to see how
5.5.3 ends up.
