Hi!
Some questions (if you reply to this list, please answer off-list to
my email as well, thanx*):
1) How many of you are interested in any aspect of Computer RPGs
(role-playing, Monty-Haul treasure fests, nice graphics, puzzles,
programming, ...)?
2) Of those who answered in the negative, what don't you like about
CPRGs?
* Prefer pencil-and-paper RPGs :)
* Too limited in (computer's) reponse(s), game scope, etc...
* Access cost (for online-only games like Everquest, Shadowbane,
etc...)
* Just not interested in RPGs in general :o
* Other... (please list)
3) Of those who answered in the affirmative, please answer the
following questions, too.
4) Which CRPG (any non-console platform) is/was your favorite? Why?
(please list a specific feature or features that "hooked" you into the
game)
5) Which one showed the most promise, but failed to deliver?
6) Which was the outright worst of all time (any platform, incl.
consoles)?
7) Do you prefer single-player or multi-player CRPGs?
8) Do you prefer Computer RPGs to pencil-and-paper ones?
9) What aspect of CRPGs makes them better than pencil-and-paper ones
(with the exception of fancy graphics or sound effects)?
10) What game got you started in CRPGs?
Thank you for taking the time to answer this questionnaire. Your
answers will determine the future course of my CRPG tutorial on
groups.yahoo.com/groups/realbasiccrpg (but in no event will I cancel it
"just cause"...)
