Well thanks, but it doesn't completely work. I'm still having trouble
with blank images when exporting to TIFF, PNG, or Photoshop while
using the QuickTime settings dialog's default settings. But I found
that changing the depth from 'Best Depth' to 'Millions of Colors' or
any other depth selection eliminates the problem. I'm not sure what's
causing it: RB 5.2, Mac OS 10.2.6, QuickTime 6.3, or my own code. Or
maybe it's a combination of these things.
The problem is apparent when reducing the included "Source.pict" file
and exporting it to any of the above formats using the default
settings in the QuickTime settings dialog. The weird part is that
while the image appears blank when viewed in Preview or the main
window of GraphicConverter, it shows up fine in the Detail window of
GraphicConverter when moving the mouse over the main image!
If I can't solve this one by Monday evening, I'm going to file a bug
report and let RS figure it out. I don't think the problem is with my
code because I can export to other formats just fine using the same
exact code.
I would *really* appreciate hearing from anyone who can confirm this
bug or figure out what's causing it
I've had similar problems when saving tiff files (via quicktime) using
the Best Depth setting.
Am I the only person seeing this problem?
