An update to the Mouse Events Plugin and a new LoadSavePNG plugin are

Mouse Events allows you to capture the mouse to receive delta, button
and scrollwheel events (asynchronously if required), as well as
manually hide, show, obscure, shield, and move the cursor. The v1.1
update has a re-vamped OSX path for better performance and
compatibility. Mouse Events supports Mac OS X, Mac OS 9 Carbon, and Mac
OS 9 Classic. Win32 stubs are included.
LoadSavePNG is a plugin and module combo that lets you easily load and
save PNG images with a single method call (with or without alpha
channels, and without Quicktime). It supports Mac OS X, Mac OS 9
Carbon, Mac OS 9 Classic, and Win32.
Both plugins are free and opensource, and built for REALBasic 5.x.
