What I meant was: How to set the z-axis orientation to 45 degrees without
affecting the x and y-axis as it happens when I use setRotateAboutAxis.

I understood what you meant. And I'm saying, I'm not sure whether it is even a sensible question, mathematically. Certainly it's ill-defined; 45 degrees relative to what, if your local Z-axis is no longer aligned with the world axes?
