If you are planning on making a sophisticated 3D game with a product like
Visual Basic, you'll buy a third party add-on.

The third party plugin and add-on market for REALbasic is just starting to
become a viable commercial market. Currently, my company works with two
developers of REALbasic add-ons (Valentina being the first), and Im
investigating what can be done with 3D. Ive been involved with 3D commercial
product sales and 3D technology licensing for the last three years. Ive
started talking with a few RB developers about this to explore what can be
done to address this market space. There are several projects off the ground
(from what Ive seen so far) but not quite ripe --  I want to take the best
or get several projects combined into one concerted commercial effort. If
this is of interest to you (and I havent already heard from you), then you
might want to send me a note.
