I'm in the process of writing a "game" for my niece and nephew for
their birthday. I normally program database applications in REALbasic.
This is my first foray into the "Games" side of things.
I'm reading the animation section of the O'Rielly REALbasic book to try
to figure out this Sprite stuff. It mentions declaring some abstract
functions and methods for some classes to be subclassed later. Does
REALbasic have any syntax for defining an abstract method? Or, do I
simply define an empty method with no parameters being passed? I
haven't seen anything written on defining abstract anything.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!
Mark
