I too am curious about how to set the sprite surface to use the old
rendered. I was not aware of a graphics handle to the actual 'foreground'
surface for a sprite.
> CoreGraphics even if you're drawing pictures
In regards to drawing pictures. Does this mean when one draws off screen in
a graphics property that it would also be faster to use the old quick draw.
I suspect that in many simple transfer type operations if the new renderer
is used this would slow things down when it's simply not needed.
If the back drop of the sprite surface is also now using core graphics I
assume it makes sense to declare it as a picture
(to a get a graphics property) and set it to quick draw as that should speed
things up considerably.
