It'd be mighty tricky to get those declares working in PEF builds - that's one reason I went the plugin route for this sort of thing (well that and the fact that Mach-O declares weren't possible until recently).

Seth has some of the calls working that I want to port from C++.

But like I said, those won't work in PEF builds...

The screen fade is the same as Im using in Project Magellan right now.

I'm not a fan of the CGD fade API myself - it's overly complicated for simple fades, and isn't as flexible as gamma tables (plus I like nice saturated brightness control like good ol DrawSprocket provides on OS 9). That API requires 10.2 to boot!
