I picked up on discussions that refer to Carlos Camacho and I see
idevgames.com is still down.
What the heck is going on?
He's (been) stuck between deciding whether to start from scratch or
send the drives to the US to get the data off of them like his wife
and every man, women, and child on the face of the planet is
telling him to do.
iDG is gone. Carlos simply won't let anyone else touch "his baby"
because he thinks they'll flake out and hurt whatever progress the
site has made. In reality he himself is the one hurting iDG.
Deathstars aside.
I have to wonder why he just didn't host it externally. Seems a LOT
of work when you can get good hosting for $200/year.
A pity. Thanks for the update,
Joe
Actually he did for like a year.
Then it was hacked.... twice?
and that was costing him more I believe
So he decided to run it from his own box... have more control.
But he never had a back up HD ( DUMB ).
Really I think everyone should go and support http://www.createmacgames.org/
at this point... its stays up.
