I've posted the latest development release of my game Eclipse. It now

Also, it should now work on Windows!! I am unable to test this, so
could someone test it for me?
Neat! It's fun to actually fly my police cruiser around :)
Are there any other ships around? I see you've got a whole mess of
ships.
No other ships yet, but you can change your ship by editing either the
Data/player.txt file or the Data/ships.txt file. If you change the ship
type attribute in the player file, be sure to create a corresponding
ship in the ships file! To just change the model of the current ship,
change the model attribute in the ships.txt file. Make sure to change
the model of the ship referred to in player.txt
I also noticed that the game crashes after the preferences file has
been created (the same KeyNotFound error as others have reported). The
game works again if I remove the preferences.
Hmm. Open up the offending prefs file, and see if any of the
"DeviceName" or "ElementName" attributes look invalid (i.e. empty).
