Make one for OpenAL :)
When Apple gets around to fixing OpenAL it may be worth a look, but at
the moment OpenAL on Mac OS is a scattered mess. The OS 9 version is a
write-off, the CFM Carbon version isn't much better, and there's
something like 3 different Macho versions floating around - all with
their own issues. Apple will stabilize the OpenAL situation on OS X
eventually (maybe with Tiger), but I wouldn't touch it for CFM/Classic
apps...
Do yourself a favour and take a look at FMOD - it has a much simpler
API, more functionality, and - best of all - it actually works. The
only downsides are that it (sometimes) costs money, and the Macho build
is a static library rather than a framework/dylib that can't be
declared to from RB.
