Actually, I'd be interested in seeing your Risk app if you don't mind.
I'm working with the Canvas control for the first time where it's
absolutely necessary for me to have one (I started my Risk game as a
self-learning exercise). I'm having a bit of a time getting my head
around creating custom controls and getting them to do what I want.
Examples are few and far between, and the Risk map had me baffled even
on where to start creating the functionality. I'm actually using your
DragPics example from your website as a starting point for the central
project I'm currently working on.
Thanks!

Is anyone interested?
I started on such a game a few years ago; as I recall, I have an app
with all the countries on it, which can be drawn on any color, and
when you click one, its color pulses to show that it's selected.
That's about as far as I got before losing interest. (FYI, there is a
very good commercial implementation of Risk for both Mac and Windows.)
I'd be happy to share my code as a starting point if anybody wants it.
Best,
- Joe
